Have you ever wondered if it truly takes 15 minutes to get from the dance studios to the geography rooms? Does your child’s English teacher actually talk like Hugh Grant? And how often do our math teachers really hold tests? Find the answers to these and other questions at our curriculum night on Thursday, September 22nd, 2016, when you’ll have an opportunity to experience an abbreviated version of your son or daughter’s timetable. Here’s the agenda:
- 6–6:25 p.m. Timetables and schedules available
- 6:30 p.m. Auditorium “Assembly”
- 6:55 p.m. Dismissal to attend classes
- 7-9:00 p.m. Modified 2-day class schedule
In addition to our classroom teachers and administrators, there will also be a guidance counselor in the guidance office throughout the evening to discuss university entrance and other issues of concern to parents.

We wish our new and returning students much success in the forthcoming academic year, and we’ll see you all on Tuesday.
Our grade 9 orientation will be taking place on Thursday, September 1st, 2016.
It is designed to help our new students make a smooth transition to high school, and will give them an opportunity to take part in informal activities with their peers, meet some of their teachers, and have their questions answered. They’ll also be introduced to our student council, principal, and vice-principals. There will be a pizza lunch on the lawn, after which students will be given their timetables and have a chance to explore the school.
Check in is from 8:30 am, with the day starting at 9:00 am. We expect to wrap up at around 1:00 pm.
